Most of the children book illustrators are self-employed; however, the amount they get paid for working as an illustrator varies depending on their skill level and seniority. Usually, for making children illustration, a senior artist will get paid up to six digits. If you are working in this industry the amount that you earn is never constant however there is an average that you might be able to calculate overtime, and that will allow you to decide whether or not the pay scale for an illustrator is good. What are your opinions regarding this matter?
