I am absolutely insanely in love with MacHg. My workflow right now is using the hell out of full screen apps for development and I was wondering if you have designs on implementing fullscreen in MacHg?

Thanks, and apologies if this is the wrong forum to be asking in.

    Thanks for the comments!

Actually I haven't used full screen apps much at all. Especially something like MacHg where I made the decision a while ago to try and go with a single windowed approach. I had started out using multiple windows, but they kept multiplying... and the UI got more complicated. I use MacHg as an application subsidiary to others. Ie I do work in XCode or BBedit, or other things and then switch to MacHg do my VCS stuff and switch back.

What would you expect from MacHg as a full screen app? Other than switching to "FullScreen" is there anything else that you think should be supported in a FullScreen app?

Thanks for replying so quickly. You're a rockstar.

Actually, the reason for wanting fullscreen support would be limited to the main application frame. The problem that presents, may in fact, be a bug in the core Lion implementation. While you're working with BBEdit and Safari in fullscreen, switching back and forth doesn't really correctly sort windows that (aren't) full screen.

I wouldn't expect any other functionality beyond being able to tack MacHg to a space and have it fully "modal" when I'm working with it. This would isolate one more case of windowed apps in my workflow that I wouldn't need to command+tilde my way through the stack to sort out.

There are already examples of applications opening dialogs on top of a fullscreen app that seem to work fine (Xcode itself does this.) But honestly I've got most of the dialogs in MacHg disabled anyhow; anything that might require further information I'm usually in Terminal (also fullscreen'd) working with my repositories there.

Thanks again for the fantastic app.

Thinking about it further, if you're looking for ideas for feature additions - I think one obvious one would be to have an area below the file list reserved for the last message received from the server; or the running log of interactions. If that panel is open (or you're in fullscreen) you could repurpose that space for user interaction as well. Let me be clear that this is not part of what I'm after, it occurred to me after submission that you might be looking for more meat to make the switch; if that's the case - cheers. If not (please ignore.)
